We had renovated our 1965 Oriental Bay apartment with the exception of the kitchen. My sister and I were both doing our apartment kitchens so she took the plunge first. We chose Design in Residence who where highly recommended. My sister was very pleased with her kitchen so that gave me the confidence to proceed.My ideas were initially fairly vague and Andrew and Lynette did an excellent job distilling what I wanted and needed. Our new kitchen looks right for the period of the apartment with a lovely blend of traditional and modern. It works brilliantly. The Scott’s project management and attention to detail was remarkable. The trades they employed were very professional and the workmanship was impeccable.

Susana Palmer used Design in Residence for two renovation projects based on the recommendation of a friend. The first was a kitchen fitout, and then a year later they decided to renovate their bathrooms.“Our Victorian villa with an unfortunate early eighties renovation had more than its fair share of poky dark bathrooms, each housing a lonely toilet or a shower or a bath, but not all three. It was quite a design challenge,” she explains.

Andrew was so professional and did a wonderful job of designing the kitchen and bathroom renovation, quoting the job, project managing it from start to finish and keeping the construction schedule moving. They were on time and on budget with the job.
